27th Annual Rehabilitation Psychology Conference (RP2025)

The 27th Annual Rehabilitation Psychology Conference (RP2025) will be held February 20-23, 2025 in Louisville, KY. The Pre-Conference Workshops will take place on February 20, followed by the Main Conference February 21–23. Registration will open in Fall 2024. RP2025 is a continuing education program sponsored by the APA Division of Rehabilitation Psychology (Division 22) and the Academy of Rehabilitation Psychology (ARP), in affiliation with the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology (ABRP), Foundation of Rehabilitation Psychology (FRP), and Council of Rehabilitation Psychology Postdoctoral Training Programs (CRPPTP). THEME: Smart Technology x Disability: Impact and Implications for Service, Advocacy, Science, and Policy According to GeeksForGeeks.org, “Smart technology includes devices, systems, and places that use advanced technologies to interact intelligently with people and other devices. These technologies use sensors, connections, and artificial intelligence (AI) to automate tasks, make things more convenient, and work more efficiently. ‘Smart’ technology refers to the integration of computing and telecommunication technology into other technologies that did not previously have such capabilities.” Frequently encountered examples of Smart Technology are found in phones, televisions, speakers, cars, tablets, watches, glasses, home devices, appliances, and many others.
