CIM CONNECT 2025

CIM Connect 2025 offers three days of immersive learning and knowledge sharing, enhanced by professional development courses preceding the convention. Our extensive trade show will feature companies presenting the latest products and services, creating a unique opportunity for networking and discovery. We chose the theme "Minerals, Innovation, and the Energy Transition" for CIM Connect 2025 to reflect the industry's evolving focus from the extraction process ("mining") to the economic value of the product ("minerals"). This shift emphasizes the importance of circularity, which goes beyond traditional mining by considering the recovery of materials that have already been extracted, such as tailings and other secondary sources. While achieving full circularity remains a long-term goal, this theme encourages forward-thinking and innovative approaches to sourcing minerals. It underscores the need to adapt to changing economic and environmental landscapes, promoting sustainable practices and technological advancements that will shape the future of the industry.
