Design for Planet Festival 2024

It's time to build Planet Positive Business! Design for Planet Festival is back for the fourth year and this time we are heading to Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. Join our incredible online programme of Manchester-based businesses, government leaders and design experts to discover how design can achieve both economic and environmental good. This year’s theme is design for Planet Positive Business. Showing that design can help businesses prosper at the same time as regenerating the planet. This does not simply mean selling the same things but made of recycled materials, nor does it mean creating shiny new green products - it means transforming the wider business system. It means a fundamental redesign of what businesses are for and putting planetary health at the heart of their purpose, giving Mother Nature a seat at the table. We believe businesses can prosper, but that prosperity, and consumption, might look different in the future.
