Engineering for Women’s Health (Eng4WH) is a multi-campus affinity group started by graduate students from Boston University, Northeastern University, and Tufts University with the goal of promoting technology that can impact women’s lives. Eng4WH aims to cultivate interdisciplinary dialogues and foster collaborations to advance women’s health. We strive to provide a platform for such conversations, and ultimately lay the groundwork for equitable, high-impact partnerships, research, and advocacy to serve the community at large. Our 2025 conference will take place at BU on January 31, 2025. Topics of interest We are seeking research abstracts focused on diseases and health conditions that predominantly affect women, present and progress differently in women, or are female-specific. For topics of interest, please refer to the high priority topics outlined in National Institutes of Health (NIH) Notice of Special Interest in Women’s Health (NOT-OD-24-079), For more information on the use of sex and gender in study design and reporting, please refer to the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) Guidelines and the NIH Policy on Sex as a Biological Variable.
