THE 28TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF HONG KONG SOCIETY FOR TRANSPORTATION STUDIES

Established in February 1996, the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS) aims to foster excellence in transportation research and practice, stimulate professional interchange in transportation, and provide a forum for exchanging ideas on transportation developments. The theme of the 28th International HKSTS Conference is "Technology and Service Innovation in Transportation", which calls for a comprehensive investigation of emerging technologies and new services that enable an efficient, sustainable, reliable, and inclusive transportation system. In this vision, we embrace people-centered and individually customized transportation systems, enabled by various recent technologies such as generative AI and edge computing. Such systems become a holistic service provider that integrates land, air, and maritime transport methods as well as private and shared economy.
