The nervous system influences cancer in many ways, and vice versa. This bidirectional crosstalk between both the central and peripheral nervous system and cancer has changed our understanding of malignant diseases throughout the body. Recent seminal discoveries in the emerging field of cancer neuroscience have already led to new therapeutic concepts that target harmful neuro-cancer interactions. The first EACR conference on this exciting and rapidly evolving topic brings together international leaders of the field: to identify the most relevant current insights, and to develop a roadmap for future preclinical, translational and clinical research. Target audience This conference aims to attract basic scientists and physicians from the fields of cancer research/oncology and neuroscience/neuromedicine, as well as related areas.
