PaCCSC & CST Research Forum 2025

The science behind the art of care: Clinical trials in cancer symptoms and palliative care The Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative (PaCCSC) and Cancer Symptom Trials (CST) have a shared focus on conducting clinical trials to find solutions to symptoms that negatively impact quality of life for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. PaCCSC & CST have a track record of supporting early- and mid-career researchers to develop their study ideas into mature clinical trial concepts. They also support healthcare professionals to take their first steps into research. We have personal experience of this, including feedback and advice on early ideas, workshopping, and writing support for trial concepts, protocols, grant applications, and ethics submissions. The PaCCSC & CST Research Forum is an opportunity for healthcare professionals, researchers, and consumers to come together to share new research, propose innovative ideas, take part in stimulating discussions, and cultivate new connections.
