Invoices and payment

The checkout screen shows which payment methods are available, and it is the authority on that. At the time this article was written, invoice was the only one that processed — the card option was shown, disabled, with that reason on it, because we would rather leave it visible than pretend it is not coming. If that has changed, the checkout will say so before this article does.

Whichever method you use, we do not hold your card details on our own servers. Card payment, where it is available, goes to a payment provider rather than to us.

You get a numbered invoice in your organization's name and address, due 30 days from the date of issue. A purchase order number can be recorded on the order and appears on the invoice. Invoice numbers come from a single gapless series.

We do not record per-customer payment terms, so if your institution settles on different terms, tell us and we will handle it by hand rather than the system quietly assuming thirty days.

Conference2Go is not VAT-registered and holds no VAT number, so no VAT is added to anything. The price you are quoted is the whole price and your invoice carries no VAT line. If your finance office needs a VAT invoice, we cannot issue one today.

There is no tax identification field anywhere in checkout, so an invoice from us will not carry your tax ID. If your finance office needs one on the document, ask us before ordering.

An issued invoice is never edited. A correction is a credit note that references the original document, which is what keeps the numbering gapless.

The rate you bought at is the rate you are invoiced at, for the whole term. A later price change never re-prices a campaign that was already sold.

To end a campaign early, write to us — there is no button for it. Where we agree, the credit is worked out pro rata on the days the placement actually delivered and issued as a credit note against the original invoice. There is no prepaid balance in this product and nothing is held on account for you.

The full position is in the advertising terms.
